Christine Wilson took to Twitter to share the poignant experience of her mother, who had just returned to Ireland after a visit to the UK. “Yesterday, my mother travelled back to Ireland from the UK, where she’d visited friends and family for the first time since she lost the love of her life to cancer,” Christine wrote. “She was tired and emotionally fragile at the airport.”
