Hendrikse's Sharks switch on hold?

Lions playmaker Jordan Hendrikse’s move to the Sharks will reportedly only take place in December, due to contractual obligations.

According to an article on SuperSport, Hendrikse's highly anticipated move to the Durban outfit might be delayed until the end of the year.

The Lions confirmed that the 22-year-old remains under contract until December, and they expect him to fulfill his obligations.

This delay could pose a challenge for the Sharks, especially with Curwin Bosch departing for Brive and Siya Masuku pushing for a Springbok spot, potentially leaving them short at flyhalf for the start of the Vodacom URC next seeson.

Hendrikse will eventually join his brother, Springbok scrumhalf Jaden, and Lions teammate Emmanuel Tshituka at Kings Park, strengthening the 2023-24 Challenge Cup winners’ squad.
