5th Annual New York Dinner To Take Place In September

The 5th Annual Munster Rugby New York Dinner will take place in the New York Athletic Club on September 11th 2024.

This is one of the most important events in Munster Rugby's commercial calendar as it fundraises for the community game in the province and helps fund key programmes across grassroots rugby.

Community participation initiatives, knowledge sharing, and growing the game are also a primary focus of Munster's trip to the US with the Munster Rugby Development department hosting several training sessions with minis and age-grade participants.

Below are some details on projects that the dinner has directly funded since it began in 2018.

• Club Community Rugby Officers (CCROs): these help clubs, schools, and communities to develop the game of rugby.

• Summer Camps and School tournaments within Munster that allow children to learn and develop the skills of rugby in a fun and safe environment.

• The donation of equipment such as jerseys, kit, and equipment for clubs.

We are delighted to say that this event has been extremely popular in New York and has sold out each year with over 300 people in attendance at each event. On the night we will hear from some of Munster's well-known legends, as well as a live and silent auction on a great night's entertainment.
