Leinster confirm short-term deal to sign All Black international Barrett at end of 2024

"All Blacks star Jordie Barrett recently signed an extension with his contract for the New Zealand Rugby Union, running until 2028. As part of that deal, he has been given the permission for an overseas sabbatical. As a result he has now elected to join All-Ireland League side Leinster on a short-term deal. He will make the move in December 2024 in an exciting announcement."
