Eben Etzebeth will make a timely return from injury for the Sharks in the Challenge Cup quarter-final against Edinburgh in Durban on Saturday.

John Plumtree has made just two changes to his matchday-squad, from the Sharks side that demolished Zebre in the round of 16 last week.

Etzebeth, who missed the first round of playoffs due to a rib injury, is fit and slots straight back into the starting lineup, locking down with Emile van Heerden.

Corne Rahl moves to the bench as a result, where he is joined by fit-again hooker Dan Jooste.

Grant Williams will earn his 50th cap for the Sharks if he comes off the bench, while Curwin Bosch could make his 100th appearance in international competitions for the Sharks.
